A one-year challenge grant of $50,000 by KIB board member, Don Lamberti, has established an endowment fund within the Greater Des Moines Community Foundation as part of the "Endow Iowa" program. Under the "Endow Iowa" approach, gifts to the endowment will generally cost the donor $0.47 for every dollar given.
Endow Iowa tax credits can be applied this year or up to five years from the year they are issued. Tax benefits for endowment contributions are reflected below:

Only checks are acceptable for endowment donations (please do not make a contribution on-line). All donation checks should be made payable to the Greater Des Moines Community Foundation.
